Airgun forum: Nitro Venom Stock Redo **PICS**

I really, really like how my Nitro Venom shoots, Unfortunatly the stock is a classic Crosman ........

The terrible Plastic paint,...I could actually live with it if the stock was vell shaped, but the Venom stock is Horrible, sometimes I wander if Crosman actually pays the designers

and I wander about Management that actually approves those stocks.

Anyway, I knew a lot of wood had to go so I put my Hard hat on and let the Ferrier rasp Fly

I eventually got tired or trying sanding the poor quality wood and left some bad sanded spots ( I understand why Crosman paints this stocks instead of varnishing, it would be hard to prep them well fo a good finish.

I ended up thaking the back of the grip way down and make the wrist much thinner, took off the monte carlo cheeck pieces (unnecessary, and beautiful if done wright, but ugly if not)rounded up the front stock from the 4x4 feeling

Finished with Polyurethane, ( will get darker and nicer in time )

Now I have a Rifle that shoots great and feels great in my hands too.

Because of the styling of the Buttpad and Muzzle brake I figured the Leapers Rubberised scope would fit the gun well
