Sorry for the low quality pics, from phone. The stock is awesome! Oh yeah, and it shoots good to. More to come once I get a chance to stretch the legs.

That is my favorite rifle stock....

I think the sportier has better lines than the thumbhole. I see you have good, better , best as far as airguns go in that middle picture. Nice.

Winds light and variable!

Sorry, but....

February 6 2012, 7:51 AM

I have to say, all these new aquatic stocks leave me a little cold. I do most of my serious shooting off a benchrest and the curvy lines of the buttstock look like they wouldn't work well off a rear bag and pedestal front. To each his own.

The wood does appear to be of nice quality, however. I have a Huntsman MkII with a very nice field target type adjustable stock made from English walnut. Daystate does nice woodwork and has for quite some time.

You are right! My MCT stock is not built for USBR

February 6 2012, 9:46 AM

shooting off of a bench. The forend is rounded and the sharpe bottom of the butt makes riding the benchrest bags difficult. The worst part is the offset (or cast) of the butt.

However, I love the MCT. The quality is outstanding RE: triggrer, magazine, single shot tray, and bolt function. It is also extremely accurate.

Everything is a compromise.

fx shoot vs daystate

February 5 2012, 11:45 PM

if you are referring to accuracy they're both about even.

if you referring to shot cycle characteristics the daystate beats the fx.the lock time and trigger are the reason. if you need more info you can email me and we can chat on the phone.
