Apparently I'm trying to build a "Tominator" out of my Falcon FN8WG & my FN8 Raptor.

I'd appreciate pics if you have them, as well as info on where to pick up the stuff I need, like stocks, fittings, accessories, etc.

You need an FN12 barrel for such an act...

Allen Zasadny made the long moderator for the original if I remember correctly.

That is the gun that took a turkey in Tenn or was it Kentucky...

Head shot 43 yards by Wade Sutherland.

Will a factory Falcon QuickFill Mod fit a Raptor pistol w/ 8" barrel?

February 6 2012, 1:21 AM

I just found a Falcon Quick Fill Mod, & I'm wondering if it fits the Falcon FN8 single shot pistol, or the Falcon FN8 Raptor pistols as they come from the factory, or will the pistols need longer barrels to use these Quick Fill Mods?

they will fit...

there have been lots of pics posted of the pistols with the quick fill/moderator set-ups. There was one for sale not too long ago. The end of the pistols and the rifles are the same set-up and same length in front of the barrel band.

"Tominator" and "Ratinator"

February 6 2012, 3:26 AM

there is an article in U.S. Airgun October/November/December 1996 issue and a picture on the inside of the back cover of both rifles side by side. Those rifles were designed and submitted to Falcon by Darrell Mazzoline way back when he was the US importer for the Falcon line under the Airguns R Us name. Both used the laminated skeleton light hunter stock and the short 8" actions as used on the pistols. The Tominator model used a 12" barrel and came with an extra long silencer while the Ratinator retained the shorter 8" barrel and used a short silencer to keep it even more compact.

Thank You Everyone. Looks like I actually had a "Ratinator" in mind.

But I gotta say, with a bit of luck I might end up with both.

Maybe I should build carbines out of both my single shot FN8WG & my FN8 Raptor repeater? happy.gif
