I justs bought a Crosman MKII and would like to know what better barrel in 22cal can I find to fit this pistol.If I want it to a slightly longer length of 10" what can I use?

the MKI and MKIIs? OR do they have to also be machined for them? If I did go for a LW barrel will the crosman 22cal bolt for the Mk series still work with these barrels? Also with the longer barrel if theres no shroud with the muzzle nut to lock in the barrel to the frame how secure is the barrel with just the set screw and breech nut holding it to the frame?

last post mentions he moved to LW due to QC or Quality Control with HW. The LW should toss a variety of pellets well. I find my earlier HW up to par and tossing 9 in 10 different pellets including predators very well...call the guro o Mk1z...
