i removed the end cap and turned the slotted spring retainer in[clockwise]one full turn.this did turn the power down...my question is:do i need to make any other adjustments to compliment or complete the task of turning the power down? to be honest i am so new to this, and this is the first time i've attempted to make any adjustments of any kind to an airrifle.but the way i see it i'd better learn if i am going to really enjoy this sport.can i get a detailed instruction from the forum members who know the inner workings of the dynamax...i really am appreciative of all who help..thx...could also email @ tommystudiog@gmail.com...maybe leave a phone number and i'll call for a step by step procedure if it is easier to explain that way...tom
you may be right ,but my chrony showed the fps at ave above 1000 fps before any setting changes...after turning clockwise one full turn the fps is in low to mid 900's fps..go figure?same pellets, same chrony, same fill pressure...hmmm...tom
decreases power while turning it out counterclockwise increases power. you are talking about the metering screw right. if you are talking about the hammer spring the opposite of the meter screw is correct. turning clockwise increases powere while counter clockwise decreases power.
