To make it easier to load? Theres not much room there to get even my skinny fingers in there. Maybe someone has opened up the breech or modified or made a new single shot tray?

Large champfer cuts fron and rear. A little easier to load single shot. Haven't taken a pic yet.

When I finished cutting the back half, in my exuberance I over rotated and put an extra scallop
in the front half. Oh well. There is also a shot of the probe I put an o-ring on. Don't yet have
a small enough tool to o-ring the barrel. I think it's a better set-up. Mucho easier to change
out the seal and don't have to worry about popping it out when cleaning the barrel.

My theory anyway.







I put a full sized LW blank in before Jim Gaska did his buy. Might have gotten one of his had I
waited a few more weeks.

So do you load the pellet by hand directly into the breech and not use the single shot tray?

Prolly make loading lots easier. My buddy has big fingers and has trouble.

I'll get around to it... one of these days...
