For the new to come Evanix Max! I bought a lazer (red) from PA years ago, however I was never able to sight it in. I've been told they make higher end lazers that you can site in. Does anyone know where to buy quality flashlights and lazers that are for mounting on airguns?
alot of money you can go to OpticsPlanet.com and they have some very high end stuff. They also carry some cheaper stuff that is usually pretty good quality too. If you want to save alot you can look at places like ehobbyAsia.com or Deal Exterme, DX.com or ebay and find stuff that is usually good quality, but you do run more of a risk of a lemon. I got a green laser and mount for my drozd off ebay that shines for miles at night and is adjustable for only $59.00 very happy with it.
Wow, there is alot of new stuff including upgrated versons of the Nd-3. I think the Nd-3 and the right green lazer to go with it will be the right combo on the Evanix Max .25. For some late night rat pop'in. Recently, we moved a washer and dryer from our outside car garage, when we took off the top we noticed extreem rat feces. We have also had our stored garbage torn up by coons. We go to bed early so I am not looking forward to staying up late however, if it's as exciting as the recent video that posted a in the dark shoot at rats in a very large barn with hey and sneeky rats getting popped and jumping, then count me in. Great video too!
Best Regards,
Rick

..to buy it send me an e-mail. One thing I never understood is why manufacturers mention that their laser shines 1 mile at night. Who in the hell ever used a green laser for a mile shot let alone any "long distance shot"???? The only reason I use them is for very short distance "zero"....
They have a LED, 140lm flashlight and red laser that comes with a mount that you can mount both to your scope. Also included are the remote wires that you can use instead of the "regular" push button, the kind you mount to your gun via Velcro and push the remote wire momentary clicky so it is only on when you push the button, it saves a lot of battery life.
The Flashlight/Red Laser kit is on sale for $44.99
The Flashlight/Green Laser kit is on sale for $54.99 (I think, maybe it is $59), but still, a lot for your $$$. The mounts and flashlights are the same, or the mount looks to be the same, at any rate, the mounts are built the same.
If shooting in day, I would use a green laser, you can see them easier in the day.
If for night pest control, the red is cheaper and no problem seeing it at dark, but (usually) green shows up better during day hours.
I do not own either, but 140 lumens and LED is a "respectable" amount of light considering 60 lumens is considered an effective defensive light and these are over 2x brighter than what the high end Surefire lights were just a few short years ago. A Surefire 6P was 60 lumens and considered VERY BRIGHT, but used a Xenon bulb and lasted about 20 - 30 minutes before it really started going down in light. LED's were not yet popular, mostly only the 5mm LED was used on a keychain, etc. Now, it is nothing to get 1,000 out of a flashlight. So, for less than the cost of a Surefire 6P just a couple of years ago, you now get a light that is 2x the lumen rating, a red or green Laser, a mount for your gun, a remote wire for the flashlight, a remote wire for the Laser a "regular" push button tail cap for the flashlight, a "regular" push button tail cap for the laser and possibly the batteries too!!! (amazing how far we get and in such short time)
If mounting a flashlight and laser with the remotes, remember, you have to hold the remote button in for the light and/or laser to be on.
I have one remote mounted on the forearm of the gun (right where my thumb is) and the other remote on the pistol grip so it is easy to use both at one time.
