After shooting my beloved springers for years, I have been seduced back to the "DarkSide" of PCPs. I probably would have been shooting my .22 Hw80k V-Mach happily now, innocent of the "force", if it had not been for a friend of mine making room in his "Stable" for an approaching new addition. He gave me an offer I could not refuse on a Greg Davis tuned .22 M-Rod. It feels good! :^)
A few questions that I was hoping to get answered on the Yellow.
1. If you leave your gun charged with air in a hot car, will it damage it. Worst yet will it explode?
2. Where is the best place to mount a sling? Oh cancel that question, found the sling rings.
I am sure that I will come up with other question later as I dive into shooting the gun but that's all have for now.

Hi, Mike. Great springers like your Hw80k sure are fantastic, but so are the PCPs, eh? You and that mrod will get along just fine.
On the sling, the factory mrod stock comes with sling studs installed. Unless yours have been removed for some reason, or perhaps your factory stock has been replaced with a whizbang custom stock, it should just be a matter of throwing on some sling swivels.
FWIW (probably not much!), I prefer using a shooter's sling of some sort - one that you can use for steadying kneeling or prone shots in addition to just aiding in carrying. Like the GI Web Sling, or the classic M1907 leather sling.
Don't really think a pcp tube is gonna explode after

being in a hot car. While breathing air EXPANDS with heat, its minute compared to the BURST PRESSURE of the tube. So if your tube is filled to 3000 psi and the heat causes the tube pressure to rise 2-300 psi, i seriously doubt the tube is gonna EXPLODE at 3300 psi.
But, let get serious about safety and common sense. It is not good PRACTICE to leave a gun in a car in direct sunlight or anything else of value such as a video camera...lol. If hot enough, i would suspect other things on the gun NON EXPLOSIVE related to fail before the air tube such as the scope.
