Just added a fill calculator to Crosman.com that may be particularly handy for the Benjamin PCP owners out there:

While I'm at it, the Fill Station Map is at 300 locations:

Good calculator, Chip.

February 19 2013, 1:18 PM

I ran a quick check and found it works perfectly.

Inputs:

Rifle: Marauder Rifle
Fill Source: 80 CF SCUBA tank at 3000 PSI which has an internal displacement of 678 cubic inches
Fill airgun to: 2800 psi
Refill airgun when pressure reaches: 1800 psi

The calculator gave me 10 full fills which I find to be exactly what I get.

fill stations

sure would be nice if the two locations I submitted (twice) many months ago when you first announced your fill station map would get added, or if you'd respond to my inquiries about why they haven't. the map might be more useful if you'd take people's input.

cheers,
greg

Thanks Greg, I've added those two shops to the map and they are appearing as expected. Don't know what the hiccup may have been but all is well now.

Confused

February 20 2013, 6:18 PM

Why would you have the volume input as cu/in of water volume when most tank volumes are listed as cu/ft of air?

The factor that truly matters for the calculation used...

February 20 2013, 7:38 PM

is the internal volume of the tank. They simply expressed it as cubic inches of water volume.
