poor accuracy in Royale 400

February 17 2017, 12:21 PM

whereas the 10.3 jsb is extremely accurate on medium and high power, the 16 gr jsb was awful. it went from half inch 5 shot 50 yard groups for the 10.3 to 2+ inches with the 16's. was surprising.

Typical S/T performance issue. Stick with standard weight pellets for best results. nft

are we talking Monster (like the OP asked) or Beast?

February 17 2017, 8:11 PM

The Monster is 13.4g, not 16, and I've read other chrony testing that shows it is in the .035 range. (By a member on another web forum)

It is also a VERY accurate pellet in my MRod. In fact it is better then the 8.44, 10.3, CHUM 10.5and H&N 10.6

.035 seems unrealistic

Its not that different shapewise or weightwise than the next lighter JSB version, which is around .021 or so.
