@ 3 1/2 lbs un-scopped.....Is Highly portable/foldable ...

March 20 2017, 8:27 PM

Anemic at 750 FPS in .25 and Single shot. Will be nice for some. Seems like quality build with Mod, however for me, needs to be REPEATER with Cocking Mech. on left side or a Semi Auto and Ramp-ed up power...one can wish!

First impression of the Leshiy

March 21 2017, 12:49 AM

I was hoping to have more time with it tonight. The family
had other ideas. I did get to try it some. May be a little
premature to give a judgment but here it goes. Of course the
size is diminutive. The ultimate backpack gun. Noise level is
backyard friendly. I'm not that impressed with the trigger.
Does not have a crisp predictable break. I'm spoiled by better
set ups with great feeling break points. Kinda mushy. The grip
also has a sharp edge that was annoying on my top finger.

Good news is the shot count was higher than I would have thought.
I'd heard 12 shots for a .25. I got 21 shots when target testing.
You can see the last target started to spread just a little as
it reached one bar from a 3 bar fill.

Nice shootin'!

March 21 2017, 8:35 AM

Mine's a day ahead of schedule. Supposed to be on the truck to me today! Yippie!!!!!

Hoping I get a couple dozen good shots in the 830 fps range for my .22 That'll be perfect for a day's worth of squirrel poppin'.
Like you said....Ideal backpack gun. That's my plan. Toss it into my pack when venturing off to the treestand in search of whitetails. From here on however those pesky squirrels are on the menu too. Probably never leave the woods from now on without some meat in the bag. I used to use a P-Rod for this but it simply isn't small enough to be ideal. Ain't nothin' sweeter than the "POP!" sound of a head shot tree rat. happy.gif

Leshiy at 50 yards

March 21 2017, 10:49 AM

Just a light breeze this morning so I set up the 50 yard
test range. That means, with permission, I shoot across my
neighbors front yard. I always like a gun that can hit a
dime at 50 yards. happy.gif It had a two mil dot hold over at 50 yd.

[URLhttps://imageshack.com/i/poEstU0jp][IMG][linked image][/IMG]

I'm using a UTG Mini Swat 4-16X44 for a scope. It seems to
be changing windage as I shoot. It's new and I'll try it some
more to see how it goes.

[URLhttps://imageshack.com/i/pozXcqUIp][IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Just to be whiney this bothers me on the gun. The pictinny lower rail is
not a great palm rest for off hand shooting. You just feel the sharp edges.

More bothersome to me is the trigger guard has a harsh edge that will dig
into my knuckle. I hate to start filing a new gun but it's enough that I
may just have to do it.

Hard to see now, but this was quite red a few minutes ago from taking the
50 yard shots. Gun was of course rested. Just holding it enough to steady
it and pull the trigger left a mark and sore spot. I know, wha, wha, wha.
Just saying it's enough to make you think about the sore spot than to
concentrate on the already hard to predict trigger break.

March 21 2017, 3:09 PM

Is that one off custom stuff or available from a vendor?

If it's custom you are VERY talented. [linked image]

Yes, it's custom work but not by me.

Bought it from a chap in the UK.

That makes me feel a little better...

March 21 2017, 4:31 PM

... I've tried some simple modifications on a wood match
pistol and it's not as easy as some make it look.
Really are some talented people out there when it comes
to custom work.

Stupid question - where is the air reservoir?

March 21 2017, 1:56 PM

Where is the air reservoir? The only tube I see is in the folding stock but I doubt that is where it is.
