I actually already have a nice chrono but sure would like to have an easy way to get my chrono data into electronic form and this seems like the hot setup to do so. Any of you folks have this combo and if so, what's your experience with it?

Hey Mark,
Yes, I have the DigitalLink setup on mine and love it.
I use my iPad with it, turn chrony on, turn on iPad's Bluetooth, then enter the DigitalLink app.
It reads each shot speed aloud, records all my data which can be viewed in several different ways.
I have all my strings history right on my tablet.
Recommended.

Yes, it's cool

Sometimes it is fussy about pairing, but once it starts working, it's great. I posted screen captures from it here a while ago. The graphical analysis was very good and the female voice that announces the shot velocities is great if you have shielded the unit from ballistic damage.

Here was the post with some of the screens: http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/thread/1458097064/ProChrono+Digital+Link+Bluetooth+app+success

Unfortuantely I left the whole rig out in the rain, and now I have issues. It still reads individual shots but the bluetooth is dysfunctional, etc. Competition has a very fair repair policy (no way would I claim this as warranty), and I am going to box it up and send it in for service. I talked to a tech there, and they have a very reasonable cap on the max cost of service, well below the cost of a replacement unit. That made me feel even better about this choice of chronographs.

Somehow I did a bad job of searching and didn't see your earlier post(s). Looks like a super slick setup and I really like the ability to export the data.

Off to order, I go! Thanks all!

Thanks for the reminder

I just shipped it off for service this morning. Very stupid of me to leave it out like that, and I really enjoy having a chrono. It is an essential airgunning tool, IMO.

Agree completely!

Man, I sure agree with that one. It's probably dumb to buy a new one as I have an old Oehler 35 (without the printer) that works fine, it's just kind of a beast to set up and something simple, easy and with electronic data capability would sure be handy. I can shoot in the backyard when I have a few spare minutes, so setting up the Oehler feels like a chore in that case. First world problems, I think they call it! happy.gif

Hope you get your chrono fixed quickly and without issue, Sir.
