FX new style fill port question?June 16 2017 at 7:01 AM

Does the new style male quick connect fill port on the rifles like the royale 400 and 500 have an o-ring or does you just Teflon tape it and screw it back in snug if it has a slight leak?

After doing some research, it sounds like there's a dowdy seal under the fill nipple where it screws into the bottom of the bottle assembly. Where Do I get a new one of these?

Try nut and bolt stores or pressure hose supply house.
Joe Brancato with airtanksforsale will have them too.

Common standard sizes

FX tends to use a lot of common SAE "standard" size orings.
2.9X1.78mm crosses over to a 006 size oring. If you go asking for a metric size you will hit a lot of dead ends...
A hose shop or any oring place should have an 006 on the shelf. Probably not in 90 duro, but that may not be critical. If so, ask for it in Viton. Viton is a little higher duro usually as standard. So is urethane.
Or just order 100 from McMaster Carr for a few bucks.

I thought a common size should be close. I'll check McMaster Carr. Got stuff from them before.
