Ditch photobucket. This is how you can post pictures through your own net54 account.

1. Login Net54 and go to your account. (If you are at the Yellow you can click on upper left corner before the posts start on "my account"

2. Once there, on left side menu click on "Realms"
(If you don't have a realm, you can create one or many. You do this once.)

3. Click on files, click upload, select your picture and upload it..

4. When the picture is uploaded you see it there on the right. Click on the picture to copy its URL.

5. Come here and post they URL alike you did with photobucket.

Done. This works for IPads and PCs.

Bravo!

Everyone keep in mind that the max photo size is 512Kb. You may have to resize your photos before uploading.

So that equals about 3 or 4 pics? Can this be correct?

Free N54 accounts limited to 512kb of space?

July 19 2017, 12:02 PM

When I went to set up a Realm the set up page said that free N54 accounts were limited to 512kb of total space with a max size of 128kb for a single picture. I don't see where this is going to help.

I see you can upgrade your account for $1.00 per month which will increase your max storage to 20mb. Still not going to help most of us.

The realm thing has always been here

July 19 2017, 11:48 PM

and has always been pretty useless. You can't put many pictures there, you can't store them as they are supposed to self delete after a while (or used to anyway years ago when I used it a bit ), and you need to remove pictures constantly to add new ones if you post a lot. Its a throwback, a left over from when Notwerk54 was new, hence the small size limitations. Back then, 512 was huge. happy.gif

I currently have 46 files in mine, most are small things like smiley gifs with a few larger (40-80kb) pictures. Available space 1 MB, 925 KB used.
