Picked up an HW 70 pistol and its shooting @310fps with 7.4 grain pellets. Looks like this thing needs new seals and maybe a mainspring. Any tips on disassembling this pistol, I can't find any instructions online anywhere. It looks like I will need to make some sort of tool to unscrew the breech plug at a minimum.

if you get a leak replace the breech seal and rechrono

here is a great write up and give you numbers to shoot for

https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2013/04/beeman-hw-70a-air-pistol-part-4/

here are the part numbers

https://www.dropbox.com/s/10bn62dpd859275/Wihrauch_HW70.pdf

the breech seal is the same used in most of the rifles if compare the part numbers at T.W. Chambers

the end cap has a grub screw on the bottom

short pistol springs don't take a much of a beating so that is more then likely ok

rebuild info hard to find like you say, I keep looking

Correct..though it may need shimmed with a wee bit of dental floss. They take the same seal as an HW rifle.
