I was just about to swap this Monsoon for a John Bowkett muzzle-loader but Dennis Quackenbush called today to say my .308 EXILE in a laminated stock is ready to ship. Sooooo, I'm going to sell it instead.

These FX semi-auto's are the funnest of the 80-plus PCP's that I've owned in the past year! 12 shots as fast as you can pull the trigger. Look on you-tube for a video of one converted to full-auto!

This one looks perfect except for very slight wear on the scope rails. It has been shot very little.

AOA sells this hard-to-get rifle for $1,449.00 and the extra magazine for $89.00.
Call it $1,538.00 plus shipping in round numbers for a new one. (When they are available)

I'll ship the Monsoon the day after you pay me with 1 magazine and the fill-probe in the factory box that will come padded nicely inside a 2nd larger box, insured to your door for $1,380.00 in a USPMO. Add 3% for PayPal.

I have a spare 12-shot magazine available for $70.00 if you buy the Monsoon. (I will not sell the spare mag unless you buy the gun because I have another Monsoon and a Revolution that use them)

Feel free to call me at (909) 917-4530 or e-mail me at rickpetersonms@aol.com with questions, but please note that even though I will post it on American Classified's also, I will sell only to the first to post "I'll Take It!" here on the Yellow Forum.

I'm listed on BOI several times as I've got a really bad case of AAA (Airgun Addiction Affliction)

Here are some pics of this elusive airgun.

Note-The gun with 1 magazine is $1,350. Add $70.00 for the 2nd magazine if you feel the need to throw a whole-lotta-lead!

I missunderstood the owner of the muzzle-loader.

When the seller called, he described the JB 9mm muzzle-loader it and asked if I'd trade the Monsoon for it.

I thought, "heck-yea" and posted that the Monsoon was sold.

At one point in our first conversation the JB owner also mentioned that he'd paid $3,000 to have John build it 15 years ago, so I thought it was a great deal and anxiously awaited pictures. I turned a deaf ear to the fact that it was too good to be true.

He called back after I posted the BSA Ultra and he explained that he just wanted to give me a credit of $1,450 for the Monsoon and then wanted the Ultra to make up the balance. The combination of his heavy Hawaiian accent, airgun feever and boyish greed originally led me to overlook the fact that the deal was too good to be true. I don't think he was trying to grind on me after-the-fact; I think it was a genuine misunderstanding, and we agreed to sleep on it.

I was still sitting on the fence about the swap even with it now costing me 2 guns. After stewing over it for a night I decided that a collectable muzzle-loader was not part of my plan. I need to concentrate on airguns that I can learn from and then sell and move on to the next one. If I tied up $2,200 or so in one rifle that would just hang (majestically, no doubt) above the fireplace it would take me away from my goal of designing and building a 9mm or .308 semi-auto within the next year.

I told him that in about a year I'd be hounding him for his muzzle-loader and his other John Bowkett guns, but that right now I had to pass.

He will not sell the 9mm outright, and I don't think is the type to post either, but if you have an interesting trade for him I will forward it.
