I know you can burn more then 120 to 150 minutes Maximum on a DVD-R 4.7GB reality is 4.37GB which is 2 1/2 hours. I just saying a standard dvd is only 120 minutes.

Think about it if he use Dual Layer DVD-R 9.4GB why didn't he burn 5 hours which is 5 tapes which eachside would be
2 hour and 30 minutes / 300 minutes
Why the hell would a person use Dual Layer DVD-R 9.4GB reality is 9.07GB and waste 60 more minutes on a DVD-R Dual Layer 9.4GB which reality is 9.07GB.

You can only burn 2 hours / 120 minutes
Maximum: 2 hours and 13 minutes / 133 minutes
But reality Maximum you can get up to 2 hours and 30 minutes / 150 minutes
Dual Layer DVD-R 4.7GB
meaning Front & Back 4.7GB x 2= 9.4GB
which reality is only 4.37 x 2= 8.74GB
You can only burn 2 hour / 120 minutes each side
so you take both side 2X2= 4 hours / 120x2=240 minutes
Maximum: 4 hours and 26 minutes / 266minutes
But reality Maximum you can get up to 5 hours/ 300 minutes
Single DVD-R 8.5 which reality is only 8.17GB
You can only burn 4 hours / 240 minutes
Maximum: 4 hours and 15 minutes / 255 minutes
But reality Maximum you can get up to
4 hours and 45 minutes / 285 minutes

Regarding Encoding use VHS Tape Ripper and DVDMaestro then If you want to remove specials-extra's VOB Files: Use DVD Decrypter, then IFoEdit, VobEdit, or DVD2one to compress/shrink the Vob Files then using ImgTool or Nero DVD Version5.5.10.15 to burn all the IFO Files, VOB Files, and BUP Files onto a DVD-R Disc's
