I've started building the Matchbox Churchill AVRE, and am building it as a specific tank to give to a veteran who crewed Churchill AVRE's during WW2. For his specific tank, i've found it that it had the
metalwork on the front of the hull to facilitate the carrying of a rolled
fascine with the anchor point for it at the rear deck. Explosive charge was also fitted to retaining link in wire above turret so that it could be released.

Does anyone have any photos showing this, and know of any conversion kits out there to do this, or plans etc? I'd be very grateful for any. Also, apparently it had 'RENOWN' in white on the escape hatches either side of the hull, does anyone have any photos of this tank?

      Thanks, Rob
