When did the first AVRE VII come into service, was it post WW2?? and when was the last ever batch of Churchills made?

This weekend, I read that the AVRE Mk VII entered service in 1954, and was retired, along with the rest of the Churchill family, in 1965 when it was superceded by the Centurion AVRE.

Mk 7 AVRE 6.5 enetered service in 1954 but they were perepared for the suez and never went, Petard AVRE's served long side till about 1956

the last one in service which was put on a plith at 26 Armoured Engineer Squadron around 1966.
