Churchill Crocs in the Reichswald

I'm trying to find out about any Crocodiles that might have been used in the Reichswald during Operation Veritable.

If not in the Reichswald, in the area of Kleve/Kalkar/Goch.

I just got the Tamiya kit and want to do it as one that was in that operation and I'm completely clueless what divisions/brigades might have been using them.

And while I'm at it, does anyone know what markings they might have had.

Thanks!!

I'm sure I remember reading, in Ospreys " battle of the rhineland" that the 44th royal tank regiment had a squadron of Crocodiles in Reichwald but this could be wrong as the information in this book is not always correct and the details are vague.

but i'm pretty sure the 1st Fife & Forfar Yeomanry (79 ArDiv) where there with crocs.

hope this helps a bit, maybe someone else might have a bit more info on this.

regards

Jim
