Hi all
I'm thinking about converting a Tamiya Churchill MkVII to a MKVIII using the Accurate armour 95mm gun set but have no Idea as to what units used them and what their markings were. Can anyone help?
I am pretty sure that the Armoured brigades had a least one 95mm support tank per squadron or maybe regiment? i've seen pitures of a 147th regiment RAC churchill with a 95mm during the reichwald battle and have read in war diaries of the 153rd regiment using 95mm guns to engage the german infantry, Also somewhere I have a copy of a spreadsheet that shows lists of what churchills where used by which regiments if you like i can dig it out and email it to you, its not a complete reference by any means though.
