Ill post that info and even print your letter if youd like, when I update in the fall.Nice to know you got some kind of response. I miss the Herc stuff, and the direction the company was going in there, for awhile, it was realy funny and appealing.{Thinks about UnderDog....barfs}
Speaking of which....I honestly dont know....WHY Underdog was greenlighted as a project. It was a crappily animated 60s toon I watched as a kid and actually, with the voice of Wally Cox{who was sort of the French Stewart of his day.....always playing funny weirdo creepies} It wasnt half bad, as toons go,as far as the humour and oneliners went. And it had a Great themesong!!!Underdog was a pathetic charcter who always came out on top despite his wussiness{like our Herc!!!} and there was a lot of self denigrating tongue in cheek humour.Similar to Rocky and Bullwinkle. But it never had a huge cult following and remains a dim memory in all our Baby Boomer brains....worth a chuckle, maybe if ya catch it on You Tube but the weird thing is they didnt really bother to make it anything like the cartoon We remember....they redid it completely in CGI with a totally different dog, keeping only the names, recycled a bunch of gags Ive heard 40 times this year alone and threw it out in August knowing how badly it sucked .....bigtime.I wish Disney would get away from creating stupid "throwaway" films that chip away at their reputation....they really need to tighten their reigns and see what s coming down the pipeline.
Anyhow, anyone wants to tell Disney how they feel let me post it on the site and share your thoughts with other fans. And Courtny, take heart, the old merchandise is all sucked up and posted on Ebay...overpriced...and thats good...it means that theres a demand and people want Herc!!!!
