I'm still in love with the Disney film HERCULES and the related animated series, but I wish they would release the series on DVD. Even though the animation was kinda poor (mostly), as they failed to get a good enough team on the series to do justice to the stylized art from the original film, the storytelling was still great fun. They did have lots of potential left untapped where future possible storytelling was concerned.
The newer copy-cat series "The Emperor's New School" paled by comparison, and never had the same appeal to me.
As for the older crew from "The Cafeterium", yah they were indeed REAAAALLLY into James Woods and the "darker" side of all things Hades. But still it was fun when we would roll-play our own version of some of the untapped potential episodes, and were even pretty funny at times, except when the plots fell flat, of course. Gosh... when was that? 1998? I forget.
Is the poster "Erin" here "Amphithea"? As I recall Amphithea was raised by Hermes along with the master thief Autolycus. She also used the goddess Iris as another student at the ProAc.
Many of us had multiply player characters, such as Pholus, the teenage centaur student who was the son of Silenus and was also in Hero-training under the tutelage of Chiron (phil's rival). Pholus'as called "Pony-Boy" as a pegoritave by Adonis, which made me wonder if Bob Schooly might have tapped into that when he used to chat on-line with us before moving on to Buzz Lightyear and later Kim Possible, as I noticed the phrase used in "Finding Nemo." Maybe it was just a coincidence? Still, it was kinda cool.
