I am trying to 'break' into the music industry. I figure I'm starting off okay. I just got a job at Universal Music and I've been writing every chance I get.
There's my intro... here's my question
What do you all listen to/watch/ect to gain inspiration for your music?
Lately I've been listeing to country artists- I think their positive and good 'ol fashioned values outlook on life is hopeful and THAT inspires me. Josh Gracin is the most recent CD i listen to. He's the marine from American Idol who is married with a little baby. Knowing what he's gone through and everything he's accomplished makes me like his music even more. (P.s- anyone heard this CD yet?)
But... I think I need more inspiration. I don't want to slow it down. Any ideas?
