Dee Ann,
I read one of your post on the pilcher message board on ancestry. I love that you were unwilling to take what others seem to have thrown together as the Final Word....I hate that people put stuff on ancestry that seems to have no basis and cannot be proven.
Ok enough of the tangent. You were looking for info on the pilchers in VA and I was wondering if you had any luck. I am searching for ancestors of Lewis Pilcher b.ca 1789 in VA...he was married in KY in 1815 to Susannah Cobb Moon. I know he had a brother Beverly....I have found their marriage info in records and military records of Beverly and Lewis....but I cannot find anything definitive on their parentage...though if I was willing to accept it they are descended from Lewis Fielding Pilcher....oh well, if you have any info I would appreciate it.
