Response to Intro-Kegelmaster for Uterine Prolapse, Cystocele (dropping bladder) and Rectocele

Sari mentions that if you have severe uterine prolapse, where the uterus is protruding out of the vagina, then you should have the surgery. What is "the surgery?" I have been reading all about hysterectomies which is terrifying. I definitely don't want to get one. Is there another surgery that can place the uterus back in its rightful spot? I am only 33 years old, of normal weight and just had my second child vaginally about four weeks ago. I noticed the severe uterine prolapse a couple nights ago.

Please help me - I'm so depressed and discouraged
