Bladder and Uterus problems

February 13 2008 at 5:19 PM
felicia

I just turned 27 and had my 3rd baby in feb. of 2006. My children were very large and my walls are weak. My obgyn told me that I need my bladder tacked and would need a hysterectomy in 10 or so years...he told me this 2 years ago. He said that bladder could wait until then...so guessing it isn't that severe. I don't want to have to have this surgery unless it is absolutely necessary. Would the kegelmaster help me? I don't want to spend the money on it if it's to late for me.

Thanks.

Avoiding Surgery

March 28 2008, 4:48 AM

Dear Felicia,

The Kegelmaster will help you tremendously IF the vaginal wall has not been "torn" or penetrated.

I can't say for sure, but based on 10 years of working with women on the phone and by email, I don't think surgery is inevitable.

You MUST be careful for a while about lifting heavy things (growing kids), you should avoid severe coughing and avoid straining if constipated.

You have my best wishes!

```Doctors at the University of Chicago, one of the nations's top universities have written an excellent article on pelvic organ prolapse.
http://www.ucurology.org/homeThumbs/femaleUrologyB.htm
It is important that you understand that we have discovered a way to make "Kegels" far easier and far more effective than ever before - in the privacy of your home, without the need for medical personnel.
"Why Do Kegels?" was taken directly from that article from the University of Chicago
Why Do Kegels?
"Kegel exercises help to strengthen the muscles that support the vagina, uterus, bladder, and rectum. Greater support can be helpful in several ways:
a) Prolapse may disappear or be less pronounced.
b) Kegels can help improve stress incontinence, the unwanted leakage of urine that occurs with coughing, sneezing, lifting, and standing.
c) Sexual enjoyment may increase.
d) Pregnancy may be easier."
End of quote from article
Be proactive! This company as evidenced by this forum among other things, has worked long and hard to move women away from a very painful surgery that often fails and has to be repeated (unless the muscle is THEN exercised), the embarrassment and expense of pads and diapers, and the expense and side effects of the pharmaceutical drugs that are repeatedly advertised on television.
A muscle that is weak has a tendency to "spasm". Any urine in the bladder starts triggering a horrible "urge" - the the ultimate fear that there will be an accident before the urge can be acted on - and RIGHTFULLY SO!
The sad part is that the thousands of dollars are spent on things that mask and don't even treat the problem, especially when our breakthrough exerciser will easily give the muscle the strength and tone to "hold things in line" and totally stop the suffering.
Sure it takes a little commitment at first. I can think of no activity in life that yields so many benefits for such little effort. When you see it really is working, it becomes one of the most rewarding 5 minutes of your day.
Just take your investigation of the Kegelmaster and Kegel Exercises to a logical conclusion. Your life will be much better for it!
this message is repeated a few times in the forum
Dear Friends:
If all you have is a mild to moderate prolapse - (stage one or stage two) cystocele (bladder prolapse - dropped bladder), uterine prolapse (dropped uterus) or rectocele - you need to start exercising your PC muscle, now! You must come to think of this as a wonderful no-brainer!
EFFECTIVE "KEGELS" ARE PROVEN TO STOP YOUR CONDITION FROM DETERIORATING AND MAY REVERSE IT.
When you really understand how it works you will see that there is no device that assures the maximum results from "kegels" like the Kegelmaster.
The chances are excellent that you will totally cure yourself, be able to resume a "high impact" lifestyle and never have to experience a rather unpleasant surgery - that often fails and has to be repeated.
If you have a stage three prolapse (organ protrudes out of the vagina), unfortunately the Kegelmaster will not prevent the surgery that you probably SHOULD have so that you can get on with your life. I would strongly suggest that you ask your doctor about your estrogen level and NOT have the surgery until that level is normal. It seems that some surgeons are NOT aware how important this is!
Approximately 6 weeks after the surgery you should start using the Kegelmaster! If you do, in theory, the surgery will NEVER have to be repeated.
The urgency is for those with a second stage prolapse. Surgery is not inevitable! It may be helpful to know that when used according to the easy instructions, the Kegelmaster completely rehabilitates the PC muscle - that is the muscle responsible for supporting the bladder, the urethra (the canal through which urine flows out of the body), the uterus, and the rectum.
What the Kegelmaster WON'T do (PAST A CERTAIN POINT) is repair torn "ligament" - the "connecting tissue" by which the vaginal wall is attached to the body.
As a prolapse becomes a more serious "stage 2" the "ligament damage" component (permanent damage) overcomes the "muscle damage".
If you really wait too long the bladder can actually herniate into or through the vaginal wall and surgery is going to be the best answer.
------------------
*Once again your estrogen level could be a factor. Low estrogen levels correlate with thin vaginal walls and less capacity for the PC muscle to grow and maintain mass.
It should be noted that this company is concerned about artificial, pharmaceutical hormone replacement therapy.
You can naturally make dietary changes and safely consume phytoestrogens (plant estrogens) in their natural matrix by eating more flax seed or flax seed oil (it has been written in several places that flax is particularly useful in keeping one's progesterone level balanced with that of their estrogen which LOWERS cancer risks), soy products (soy milk, tofu, miso etc) and an herbal supplement containing "red clover" or "black cohosh".
There are certain people who because of a family history of certain types of cancer want to REDUCE ESTROGEN.
You should not try to change your estrogen level without a trained doctor's assistance if you have a family history of hormone dependent cancer.
It is worth repeating and emphasizing: If you have a stage 1 or a stage 2 prolapse you could be "one traumatic event away" from requiring surgery, rather than being able to address the problem with an easy exercise!
SOMEWHERE THERE IS A"POINT-OF-NO-RETURN".
You should seriously begin exercising and strengthening your PC muscle now!
A bad coughing spell, straining if constipated, high-impact exercise, lifting a heavy object or moving a heavy object "incorrectly", being on your feet for long periods, etc. can all be precipitating events.
If there is any doubt about the suitability of the Kegelmaster for you, PLEASE ask your doctor!
Ask him/her if "in theory" could properly done "kegel exercise" possibly be beneficial for your condition.
If you get any kind of positive response, my suggestion would be to "run, don't walk!" to the Kegelmaster.
Please don't hesitate to call our company 1(800)523-4430 if you have any questions.
Over 500,000 surgeries a year are performed in the United States alone for bladder prolapse (cystocele), rectocele, and uterine prolapse. (Source Christine Kent).
Theoretically, if every woman used the Kegelmaster, in time this number would reduce to near zero!
The needless expense for adult "pads" and diapers is even greater, not to mention the skin infections and odor. Properly exercising the PC muscle with the Kegelmaster has a greater than 93% chance of eliminating all leaks and accidents.
The Kegelmaster is a small form-fitting device which is gently inserted in the vagina approximately 3 inches. A knob which remains outside the body allows you to control how far the unit "opens". You perform simple, rewarding "contractions" against one of fifteen pre-set levels of adjustable resistance. You start at an appropriate, comfortable level and you are able to gauge your progress as well. This is the state-of-the-art way to grow muscle tissue and hopefully reverse a prolapse condition.
Question from Elaine:
Hi
I;m writing 4 weeks before surgery to repair a rectocele.
Can this product prevent the surgery?
Elaine
Dear Elaine:
I am so glad that you wrote.
There is more I would need to know to predict if you can prevent surgery at this point... For instance, your age, your "childbirth" history, the seriousness of the rectocele, your estrogen level, more about your lifestyle etc. etc. etc.
If you can avoid the surgery you really want to do so. Sometimes "ignorance can be bliss", but this surgery can only be described as "yucky".
There are lots of variables, but the principle is the same: God did not make a mistake when we were created. Because all of us lead a relatively sedentary lifestyle our PC muscle is not preconditioned the way nature intended - to undergo the rigors of childbirth. Without proper rehabilitation the result is predictable: cystocele (bladder prolapse) uterine prolapse, recotecle, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, etc.
Our product is tested and proven and FDA cleared. The efficacy of the Kegelmaster™ is not to be denied! It can change the health outlook for women all over the world.
Maybe, just maybe it can prevent a surgery that is scheduled 4 weeks from now.
I have a friend whose mother was 3 weeks away from scheduled surgery for stress incontinence and pelvic pain due to a tipped/retroverted uterus at which point, we supplied her with a Kegelmaster!
Within 3 weeks by using the Kegelmaster, she reversed her problem, and she was able to permanently cancel the surgery.
This was a major factor in my becoming involved with the Kegelmaster in the first place.
Rectocele can be a different situation entirely. Same with cystocele and uterine prolapse. It is a matter of timing - to what stage has it progressed. How much is muscle damage versus torn ligament. If your condition has not progressed to what is called a stage 3 AND and you were successfully able avoid more "trauma" for a while (severe straining due to constipation, being on feet for long periods, straining to lift/carry heavy objects, severe coughing,etc), yes, there is a decent chance that the Kegelmaster may help you avoid surgery.
Please understand we are not making an unsubstantiated medical claim. A mild to moderate prolapse can usually be reversed without surgery - a severe one cannot.
Let's say it's a worst case scenario and you DO have to have the surgery. Bulking up and strengthening the PC muscle as much as possible BEFORE the surgery will make the surgery easier.
After surgery (waiting at least 6 weeks), the smartest thing in the WORLD you can do is to use the Kegelmaster. This (along with a good estrogen level) and avoiding trauma especially at first, will give you the best chance of your never having repeat surgery - unfortunately an all too common occurence.
Another thing, if you do have to have the surgery you should make sure your estrogen level is normal before the surgery. Please ask your surgeon about this. This would be a valid reason for delaying the surgery. It concerns me that some surgeons don't always address this issue. (If possible we recommend natural bioidentical hormonal therapy)
Probably the first thing you should do is ask your doctor, based on the amount of ligament damage or herniation associated with your particular rectocele if you were to do "effective" kegel exercises, is it possible for you to avoid surgery "in theory" ?
If you get any kind of positive response - cancel the surgery and try the Kegelmaster!
I wish you the best and appreciate your writing the forum.
With warm regards,
Sari Wexler
It Has Raised My Bladder And I No Longer Have To "Go" All Of The Time!
April 15 2008, 6:42 PM
I just wanted to share my good news with any other women worried about cystocele or similar conditions such as uterine prolapse, rectocele, or overactive bladder.
I started using the Kegelmaster after having had my second child and being told I would need surgery. I stumbled across your product on the net and ordered it on the day I found out, as I was impressed by all the testimonials.
I started using it in February and it is now mid April, 2008 - only 7 weeks have passed.
I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY WITHOUT FAIL and the results have been incredible. I had the 'bulge' that everyone refers to and thought that on advise of the nurse and doctor that I was in for surgery.
However over the last week I have hardly felt the bulge at all.
Before it used to get worse by late afternoon or when I had been standing and what I've noticed is that slowly the bulge was taking longer to appear-so that eventually I now feel it only by about 9pm-that is a FABULOUS RESULT IN SHORT TIME- I think that within a couple more weeks I wont even feel it all and plan to cut down how often I use the kegelmaster to just maintain all the good work it has done.
Also I was contstantly having to go to the toilet and found that even when I left the home for a short while I would have to find a toilet as I had the urge to go all the time. Now I go much less and Im sure if I keep using the Kegelmaster I will be totally cured of this as well. I wasn't totally incontinent but I had go very frequently and believe that had I not started using the Kegelmaster I would have not left the house!
I do about 150 fast repetitions and then slow ones too and that is all that Ive needed to be almost healed. It only takes me about 5 minutes a day.
This is honestly the first time Ive felt compelled to write to a company to say how impressed I am but I felt it necessary to encourage any other women that may need to hear success stories.
I have to say the forum helped me when I needed motivating initially to use the Kegelmaster as at the beginning I didnt see results and it took about 2 weeks to see results.
Please feel free to print this if you wish.
I live in the UK and when I mentioned it to the doctor and nurse they had never heard of your product and also friends of mine were impressed and are thinking of purchasing one on my recommendation.
Mrs B.
