WAND: As the token English major, I say, quit it.
MMK: I can't take you anywhere.
(I don't get the last line. "It" can't take you anywhere? Or is that an obscure
riff? :))

Actually, eon, it's neither of the above. It's along the lines of a battling couple and one complaining about how anytime they go out together, one member is always breaking stuff, or complaining, or doing something generally annoying. I think it should be a little more clear myself, maybe something like:

MMK <exasperated>: I can't take you anywhere.

> CHAPTER 6: LIU KANG/KITANA vs. GUILE/BLANKA
EMMY: Will the court please rise?
(I've always heard "Will the defendant please rise?", but that could just be
sheltered ol' me.)

Point. Usually, if the entire court is rising, such as when the judge is entering or leaving, it should say "All rise."

In fact, maybe we could do this:

[EMMY stands up.]
EMMY: All rise.
[ALL stand.]
EMMY: This session of Crossover Fanfic Court is now in session, the Honorable Judge Joseph Wapner presiding.
[WAPNER materializes in fron of the screen.]
WAPNER: Be seated.
[WAPNER bangs his gavel and disappears. ALL look at EMMY. EMMY grins and sits down. ALL sit back down, tossing glances at EMMY, who watches the screen, oblivious.]

Just a thought.
