Regarding sending this to SVAM: Why not? It's good. And some of the stuff on SVAM are definitely not as readable as MOT. No exaggerations.
Regarding doing Chap. 2 (Oi, now I'm doing it!... Oi, again!) : Let's go for it. At the rate the MSTing's going, the final product might be ready for New Year's. ^_^
