eDAN: I personally think its all about respect. These kids- and its almost always kids- grow up with little or no respect shown to them, and they don't get on with the ladies, and so they write these silly little escapist fantasies.
GAVOK: Yeah, but, how do you account for the viscous oily hungry semi-sentient spaghetti?
MMK: Maybe they were attacked by a can of [insert American/Canadian/whatever (I'm tired and foreign) brand of canned spaghetti here] early in their formative years.
NERE: That's just silly.
MMK: Isn't it, just.
R.JAK: Myself, I fully place the blame on Legend of the Overfiend.
SNOT: So how'd our current freakshow reject get a hold of that?
R.JAK: He wouldn't have needed to; enough people have seen or heard of it that the phenomenon has reached a kind of critical mass.
NERE: Racey's got a lot of tentacle stuff that predates Overfiend.

NERE: Or so I've heard.
