coleman 502 problem

Hi,
I have been using my stove regular for weeks now. Now today I can not get the flame
to settle down and burn with the normal roar.
As I turn the generator it just goes from
a yellow flame to a blue weak flame but
it never settles into the baffles.

What could be problem be?
I can pump up preasure and it lights fine.
It just never settles into the baffles.

Umm...maybe the generator is gone. The jet could be too large.

Just a thought (or two)

Are you loosing pressure?

no pressure loss

NO pressure loss. It will burn a long time.
IT just never settles down. If I turn the
flame adjuster way down I can get a blue flame
but that is just before it goes out and it still
does not burn in the baffles.

what causes yellow flame

It probably is the clogged generator. Blow torch the generator, and burn the carbon deposit inside.
