I don't like pop up adverts, but network 54 who supply us this forum/discussion board service work with Gain Publishing, who now are making subscription to their pop up ad service compulsorary if you want continued access.
So, let me know:
1) Do you want to continue the discussion forum and events noticeboard despite the pop ups?
2) Do you dislike pop ups so much you won't be using these services any more
3) lets not bother with having the discussion forum and events board any more.

INFO ON DRAYTON-ST LEONARD

September 6 2004, 3:11 PM

Hi Steve

I am a South African relocating to the UK in November 2004 to work as a forensic scientist at the Culham Research Centre.

Currently I am seriously considering renting aproperty in Drayton-St Leonard, and I was wondering if you could advise me on the following:

1. What would the commuting time be between DStL and Culham? i.e. would commuting be feasible (+-30-40minutes would be fine)

2. My kids is ages 8 & 9 - to which government school(s) could the typically go? What is the travelling time to and from these school(s)?

3. Is Abingdon your nearest town, i.e. where do residents do their banking/shopping. (I need to buy a car as soon as I arrive)

4. I understand the village makes use of bottled gas, is this delivered to the houses, and how expensive is it.

Kind regards

Etienne van Zyl
