I think it was vandalized again.
September was not good for antisocial behaviour. The BT man was mending the payphone last week and he explained it had been damaged by robbers. A team had come in, an amateurish job apparently. He said they made a lot of noise, waking people who called the police.
Everyone in the village should contact the village clerk, Sarah MacNamee, to express interest in starting the Neigbourhood Watch scheme the Village Council is thinking about. It must give us a chance to lessen the impact of these sorts of things, as well as the theft of the ride on mower earlier this year and all those broken car and house windows.
