I note with great interest the many postings made in reference to video footage which supposedly appeared on some, albeit limited, news services.
I owned & operated a satellite media monitoring service here in Australia, and I can assure anyone reading this posting that following the incident CNN ran breaking news footage of what looked like a "streak" or "flash" of light rising into the sky, followed by an explosion.
I also clearly remember that after an hour or two, this footage was suddenly no longer shown on any further CNN coverage and the center fuel tank theory was starting to be proposed as the likely cause of the "accident".
Unfortunately, we were not recording these monitored broadcasts at the time.
Yes, I remember that footage that was aired a few years back. The funny thing is I mention it to everyone and they all seem to have not known about it and think I'm crazy. When you see the footage it's clear as day what went on.
