I live in New Jersey, at the shore. It would seem the 30 knot track which the FBI has failed to ID if continued on it's heading would hit the Jersey Shore somewhere not far from where I live.

Having been a Shore resident all of my life, I have many contacts in Marina's and other boating areas and have begun a preliminary search of available records for the time frame 07/17/96--07/18/96.

I would assume the FBI has covered much of this, however, I have initiated a search using some methods I learned during the writing of my first book.

Right now, I have no idea what this will uncover, or how long it will take.

It's also certainly possible this boat changed course, was scuttled, or in fact had nothing to do with the Fl. 800 incident.

track in mind as coming ashore in New Jersey?

or unrequited horniness as excuses for mis-placing New Jersey. You are absolutely right, 'tho I did get Fire Island correct, but New Jersey, that elusive little booger has ruined any pretense of credibility that I may have had.
