I was appointed in 1982 in scale which has grade pay Rs.2800. I was promoted in 1986 to scale which has grade pay Rs.4200. No further change of grade pay as the V PC pay scale of Rs.5000-8000 and Rs.5500-9000 have been merged. As I have completed 20 years in grade pay Rs.4200 as on 01.09.08, will I be eligible for II and III financial upgradation on 01.09.08, or will I be allowed only II financial upgradation?
