  • Silly question for Julie (or anyone who knows about adult MT auditions)

I have an appointment for an audition for Fiddler on the Roof coming up, and I can't decide whether to sing "Waitin' for my Dearie" (Brigadoon), or "What's the Use of Wondrin'" (Carousel). Would it be acceptable if I offered both and let the casting director CHOOSE the piece he wanted to hear? I've always thought it would be neat to let them decide, and I know this is ok in opera auditions, but I didn't know if it would be right for musical theatre.

      Thanks!
