i wonder too why they took out Tomorrow, i don't think it was a fantastic movie, but i think i liked it better than some of you seem to. i discovered it when i was little (like 4). so i couldn't compare it to the stage version, obviously.
i saw the 1999 movie too (but last year when i was 16), and i think i still like the first one better.
i prefer miss Haningan in a Carol Burnett style, rather than the "original" style (like on stage, or in the 1999 movie).
of course they had less budget for the disney movie, but it was to disney for me... the 1982 version seemed realler, i felt like some character in 1999 were sort of caricatures (sp?) (rooster and lily, miss haningan...).
About the bridge scene, what happens in the stage version ? how does miss haningan's plan end ? like in 1982 or 1999 ?
actually, i like all the scenes in the orphanage, but those at Warbuck's bore me a bit..
so a good Annie movie for me, would be a mix of these two..
don't you think it would be cool if they remade it (again) ?
