Show has been sanitized with many of the edgy, politically incorrect jokes being cut. That is for the better in some cases (not all). But overall the show was better at Goodspeed. Seems moving to Broadway size venue and trying to please a Broadway audience made the characters more shallow and story a little lacking. Small venue and strong cast made Goodspeed a gem of a show. (At first I thought that was just my reaction to seeing it in large theatre on Broadway. But have since heard the same thing from others who saw it at both places.)
