I'm a good 3 hours away. The plan Dr. McLanahan has for me is to go to my local hospital and have a work up with his orders if I am in shunt failure he will have me life flighted to Charlotte. I had been making numorous trips to Duke nearly 5 hours away by that doctors orders. And would end up sitting in the er waiting room up to 11 hours. Dr. M when I found him we told how we had been driving to go to an ER at Duke he said that was too dangerous not to ever do that again.
