Neurologist

by

I went to a Neurologist on Thursday about my jerking. He prescribed me a medication that I can't remember the name of. At first he suggested Claunnapin, but my mom and I were worried that it was addictive and I have had trouble with getting dependent of meds and had a hard time coming off of them(Xanax, Percaset, the Pain Patch). He ordered a EEG which I'm having done on Friday and a sleep study which is next Monday-Tuesday. I just hope they have a TV in the room and a privite room.

Dr Rao, who I went to see says he has seen patients that had a jerking disorder that started with the diaphram and worked itself onward. He says that is rare. But I have always been a rare case starting with my repeated tumors in my upper and lower jaw, my COATS disease in my right eye, my hydro(Dr M says I'm a hard case to figure out.. He's right), my NF(I have 1 and 2) and my complex case of Scoliosis(it stopped curving when I was a teenager, then took up worsening again a few years ago).
