How long do you have your shunt?

by

I had a burning sensation in my abdomen after receiving my first shunt.
Sometimes the burning was so bad I had to quickly stand up.
It took me a few years, yes years, before the pain finally passed.
I guess it took my body a long time to adjust to having all that CSF
drain into my abdomen.
Maybe you'll have the same thing happen to you.

I did have my first shunts tubing shortened because it was causing way to much pain rubbing on something in there.
