I've had my current shunt for 4 years. It will be 5 in June. I've had a few scares. I ended up in the hospital for a week with a severe miagrance. I've ended up haveing to have my shunt tapped and irragated when there were sighns of accute shunt problems. Starting in 2000 I had multiple shunt failures(I blame on being rear ended in a car accident).I hope your luck keeps up.
