must for me

Joy,
I guess I'm under this impression since I've just been told my shunt has been malfunctioning for at least 4 years and I'm still sitting here waiting for the neurosurgeon to call to set up the surgery. I guess I felt if it was that much of a danger, they would've had me in the hospital already.
Unless it's the fact that I've always just adjusted to whatever issues arose over the years, and they feel I'm handling things okay, so it must not be that bad.
I don't know. I feel like crap, but can still breath and move around, so I guess I'm functional and that gives me the impression that a shunt failure doesn't always cause major medical complications. (been my case anyway)
I was just trying to let Megan realx a bit so that she didn't feel like something was going to happen to her shunt without her knowing about it.
