I talked to Laura yesterday. She is very upset about Ripple; and I would be to. Ripple had the surgery, but may not be able to return to work as her guide dog; and the fact that they are retireing her.
She is having trouble with headaches and searching for a new neurosurgeon in Indiana.
Indiana no longer pays for eye care for people on Medicaid.
The governer of NC is going to stop medicaid from paying for dental servives; so if our teeth rot out we are out of luck. I have a full set of dentures and if they get broke and need adjustment, I'm out of luck. I'll have to go toothless. Can we impeach her? She laid off teachers, cut salaries for teachers, medics, fire, and police departments. She laid off a bunch of special ed teachers, inreesed class sizes, and moved regular teachers to the special ed class rooms. She is shoreing up the state debt with the "NC education lottery", and scaleing back outpatient care for psyciatric patients. In other words, she's punishing the people who most defenceless.
No wander I did not vote for her. I knew we'd be introuble if she were elected.
