I'm glad you're going to be able to do this; at long last. When I had surgrery on April 15, I did not think of it like the day where I had to have surgery and how crappy I'd feel that day, but as "get better day". I marked it on my calendar like that. My mom liked that when she picked me up from my apartement on that Thursday(Friday was Good Friday). As it turned out, it was get better day. Let us know how it goes.
