I think it's remarkable that my first shunt surgery was Nov 2, 1991 and my latest episode has landed my shunt surgery on Nov 2, 2009. That is exactly 18 years to the day. I am taking this as a good omen. The first surgery was a piece of cake for me, and my family. I'm hoping this one is the same outcome.
