I'm sorry about what you're going through. I am 35 and have obstructive hydro; and have been shunted for life. It is possable for their to be shunt fauilure with out it showing up on scans. I'm not familiar that much with nph, but I do know that the symtoms you are discribing can go with nph. I hope all goes well,
