I'm glad things went well. Sometimes it takes them forever to get me into a room; either because they are still cleaning one or I can't wake up enough or a medication issue. Other times I can't wake up enough.
You are probably feeling tugging at the surgical site. That's the stigches. My mom noticed that I could see and focus better after a revision. I guess vision goes along with inter cranial pressure. I'm not quite sure.
I had an anti-syphen devise placed in on April 15(tax day) because I over drain. My neurosurgeon was concerned that if he turned my shunt down, my vents would collapse. With the anti-syphen devise placed in, he set me at 150. My old setting was 170. I've been shunted since 1974.
I hope you continue to get better. Don't give up on going home today;; I've been released at 5:30 pm before. Usally hospitals don't bill for another day until midnight.
