My vision problems...mainly double vision...were from the pressure on the optic nerve. Going to the eye doctor for the double vision is how I got diagnosed with hydro. He ordered a CT scan right away. I have it in the mornings, and can't read the paper. This is from lying down...and the flow is slowed down, then getting up, and draining (to play catch up) I guess. Also, my hydro is high pressure.
You are doing so well if you are able to go home the same day. Bet insurance company loves you! I have so much discomfort from the burr hole...but should just bite the bullet and go home, as I just get pain pills for it, which I can take at home.
